Dr Amit Gharat is a noted Best Gastroenterologist in Navi Mumbai and Hepatologist practicing in the area of Panvel & Navi Mumbai.  Apart from busy gastroenterology practice, his keen interest in academics and technological aspects of endoscopy has taken him to various countries throughout Asia and Europe. He has implemented these in his own private practice and is very vociferous about it in national forums.
His training from TATA memorial hospital, Mumbai has given him impetus to work on collaborative projects assessing the treatment algorithms suitable in Indian scenario.

Dr Gharat is the Director at Mitr Hospital Kharghar and co-director of Aashi Diagnostics. As a Director, Dr Gharat is the joint incharge for Digestive Disease Centre (DDC) and takes care of Endoscopy unit along with Dr Vijaykumar Malladi. DDC aims to give complete solution to medical and surgical GI cases under one roof. Dr Gharat also contributes to management of human resources, finances and medical events at MITR Hospital.
