About Dr. Amit Gharat
Dr. Amit Ramchandra Gharat is a gastroenterologist, hepatologist and endoscopist at MITR Hospital, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. His clinical and academic interests include digestive diseases, endoscopy and treatment approaches suited to Indian clinical practice. His keen interest in academics and the technological aspects of endoscopy has taken him to various countries throughout Asia and Europe.
Dr. Gharat is a Director at MITR Hospital, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, and co-director of Aashi Diagnostics. He is joint in-charge of the Digestive Disease Centre (DDC) and takes care of the endoscopy unit along with Dr. Vijaykumar Malladi. The DDC aims to provide complete medical and surgical care for gastrointestinal conditions under one roof. Dr. Gharat also contributes to the management of human resources, finances and medical events at MITR Hospital. He practises in Panvel and Navi Mumbai.
