29 year old lady, R D comes with left flank pain on and off once or twice in a week since last 6 months. An ultrasound revealed a large cystic mass from upper pole of kidney on the left side. A CT scan was done which showed that she had complete duplication of left PCS and the upper moiety was hugely swollen due to blockage in its ureter. This was what was causing her the pain.

She underwent laparoscopic removal of the upper pole moiety successfully. Post surgery she drained some body secretions for 20days through drain, She had one episode of infection which later cleared with aspiration of infected fluid.
