Dr Malladi joined hands with surgeons of other disciplines to start a dedicated, specialty laparoscopic surgery centre in the area of Kharghar. This centre was setup for achieving the goals of AMASI – “MAS for MAS” - Minimal Access Surgery to Masses by 2020. Dr Malladi conducts frequent interactive sessions for the general public to create awareness about surgical diseases and its related laparoscopic surgery.

Common laparoscopic surgeries performed by Dr Malladi include laparoscopic surgeries for diseases including abdominal pain, appendicitis, gallstones, hernia, intestinal diseases, gastro-oesophageal reflux, diaphragmatic hernia, splenic disorders, liver cysts etc.

Dr Malladi has taken great interest in developing laparoscopic surgery for hernia – which is a common problem. His work has helped many of his patients to return to work earlier, pain-free. Dr Malladi believes that this advantage offers patients to resume work earlier. Hence, his mantra about Laparoscopic Surgery - “Return to Life, Quickly”. is apt for present lifestyle especially in nuclear families.
